We roast a wide range of Australian grown Arabica coffees sourced directly from coffee growers who we know and have visited. Previously our family grew coffee for over 20 years. They have since retired from coffee growing but remain on plantation in northern NSW. We use Schulz Organic milk at all of our farmers’ markets.

We commenced roasting in 2000. Sourcing local and fresh produce and also artisan skills and methods underpins all of business decisions. It is important to know where your food comes from and how it is produced. We also support and follow sustainable practices in all of our business decisions. Our store name “Growers Espresso” was chosen to reflect and highlight the ‘grower’ or ‘producer’. It is also evident in our menu which includes many of the producers and growers who we know through our farmers’ market involvement over the past 10 years.
Farmers’ markets have been an important part of both our family and business over the past 10 years. We don’t shop at supermarkets and we buy the majority of all of our food via farmers markets. It has become a way of life that our children are also involved in and have become accustomed to.
