Join us for an action packed day hosted by Cameron Smith of Triple R’s Eat It show.
Nonna Power cooking demonstrations kick off at 10:30am with Cam showing us the wonder of parsnip in a skordalia, paired with McIvor Farm pork and fennel sausages.
At 11:30am, Shuki (of Shuki & Louisa) will let us in on his mother’s recipe for lamb on cinnamon sticks, served with a seasonal salad.
Finally at 12:30pm, Cam will whip up an irresistible sweet treat using market produce: nuts, honey, perhaps some fair trade chocolate.
Throughout the day, Fair Food Kids are invited to join us in making vegetable face masks, chalk drawings and designing seed packets. Plant a seed and take it home to grow!
No bookings are necessary and all activities are free of charge. This is a Slow Food Melbourne initiative, supported by Transition Towns Hobson’s Bay.
