Mt Zero Olives
We have an 80 hectare olive grove that was planted in the ’40s and ’50s. We started farming in the early nineties, a strong contrast to our previous lives in Melbourne working in health (Jane) and the public sector (Neil). We were struck by the beauty of the area and keen to farm biodynamically.

Sustainability, regionality & quality are the three principles that drive our Mount Zero and all that we gather from the Wimmera / Grampians. Located at the northern tip of the Grampians National Park and on the southern edge of the Wimmera grain farming region, all of our produce is from dryland (non irrigated) farms, meaning variable yield but fantastic depth of flavour.
Farmers markets’ principally mean sustainability to us. An important income that has sustained our farm through lean years. A point of contact directly with our customers and an ability to cut down on transport & packaging through the use of bulk & refillable containers.
