I [Jim] came to Australia from the UK on a gap year when I was 18 and visited my godfather at his pig farm in Bunnaloo. I loved it and came back every summer holidays while studying in England and moved here permanently once I’d finished. The decision to move into British smallgoods was prompted by a gap in the marketplace and the fact that I missed them!
We are located in Moama on the banks of the Murray River. Our facility is a reconditioned dairy building, converted into our small factory from its derelict shell. We have a green approach to manufacturing, deriving all of our electricity from green means, and all of our waste water feeds the surrounding vineyards. We buy as local and as direct as possible.
Farmers’ markets represent a chance to interact with the customer directly, purchase ingredients from fellow stallholders and fill the home larder at the same time!
